The adventurous and passionate Founder and the Managing Director of Oceannex Travels.

Growing up, Sapumal was passionate about Information Technology and Travel. Even though he completed his higher studies as an IT specialist, his love for travel eventually evolved into a career.

After years working in the tourism industry with large conglomerates based in Sri Lanka, he decided to pursue a dream of starting his own travel company, focused on personalized and authentic travel experiences.

Oceannex Travels was born as a company that thrives on offering tailor-made and unique itineraries for travellers who want to venture beyond the typical tourist spots and truly immerse themselves in the local culture and adventures. His continuous dedication to crafting personalized adventures, make Oceannex Travels inimitable. Whether it's a luxury tour, or a budget road trip, or exploring a hidden gem, the focus is on tailoring each journey to the traveller’s interests, creating not just a trip, but a story to tell for years to come, with his genuine enthusiasm for travel.

With over 15 years of experience in the travel industry, Sharon has become a true expert in turning dreams into reality for travelers all over the world.

She started her professional journey working in various roles within the industry before climbing the ranks to become Director of Oceannex Travels, her passion for travel, paired with her exceptional organizational and leadership skills working for the top tier agencies in Sri Lanka and in North America, has allowed her to shape the agency's direction and ensure that every trip is executed with the highest level of care and attention to detail.

As Director, Sharon works closely with all tour and travel experts in the company to create personalized itineraries that go beyond the ordinary. Whether it's a honeymoon in the Maldives, an adventurous holiday in Sri Lanka, or a cultural exploration of Southeast Asia, Sharon is committed to ensuring each client's experience is seamless, stress-free, and unforgettable.
